The agreement signed between Xooloo and Numéricable will enable parent subscribers to choose between 2 methods of protection of minors on the Internet :

a « Children » mode (up to 12 years old)
A completely secure space equipped with the Xooloo whitelisting, the « Children » mode allows surfing over web pages or websites which are known to and regularly checked by Xooloo. Webmails, forums and chat pages are inaccessible. This Xooloo whitelisting is being constantly updated, as it is expanded through the searches of children or the suggestions of parents. The Xooloo whitelisting has been chosen as the best solution on the market, obtaining a mark of 20/20 in recent tests carried out by the IP-Label team for the French Ministry of Internet and the E-Enfance association.

an « Adolescent » mode (over 12 years old)
Unlike the whitelisting, where the surfing space is restricted, the « Adolescent » mode allows access to the entire Internet, except for websites and web pages known to be violent, pornographic or licentious in nature. Over and above the constant checks carried out by Xooloo, the publishers of websites who do not wish minors to have access to their contents adhere to a self-labelling system in order to be included in the black list.
