Tony Sager, NSA Vulnerability Chief to Keynote Black Hat USA 2007 Briefings

Black Hat, the world’s leading family of information security events, announced the keynote for the Black Hat USA 2007 Briefings on August 1-2, 2007 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nevada. The USA 2007 Briefings will host over 4000 digital security experts, bringing together a unique mix of public and private sector security professionals and underground hackers. Tony Sager, Chief of Vulnerability Analysis and Operations Group, Information Assurance Directorate for the National Security Agency, will open the conference by discussing the Information Assurance Directorate within the National Security Agency.

“Tony Sager has been at the NSA for the last 29 years, focused solely on digital security,” said Jeff Moss, founder of Black Hat. “His keynote is a rare chance to hear directly from the NSA about their advanced programs in information security and how the security community can benefit from the work of the intelligence community. This is just the beginning of an outstanding agenda for Black Hat USA 2007.” This year’s agenda will be comprised of ten different tracks, over two days, featuring over ninety respected security professionals.
