Christophe Varin’s mission will be the growth in sales of the subsidiary, in particular for major accounts in Banking and Insurance, with the support of Sourcefire partners. In order to support the development of its French subsidiary, Sourcefire is adding to its sales team and has appointed Christophe Varin, 36 years of age, to head the Banking-Insurance and Services Department.

 After starting his career in 1996 as a Sales Engineer with Symantec, Christophe Varin successively filled the roles of Sales Engineer and Senior Sales Engineer for Industry.
 In 2002, he joined the French subsidiary of Sophos as a Major Accounts Sales Engineer responsible for Banking and Insurance.
 In 2004, he moved to Webwasher-Cyberguard (now Secure Computing), where has was Sales Manager Banking-Insurance-Administration for Southern Europe.
 Before joining Sourcefire, Christophe Varin displayed his talents as a Sales Manager in the luxury, energy, insurance, services and distribution sectors.
 Christophe Varin has a BTS in Commercial Activities and is a graduate of the IFAG Business School.
