Netpp names Pat Linehan senior VP of APAC and EMEA

Network Appliance, Inc. announced that Pat Linehan, senior vice president and general manager for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA), has been named senior vice president and general manager for EMEA and Asia Pacific (APAC).

In the five years since Linehan took the helm as senior vice president of EMEA, the region has enjoyed a 35% compound annual growth rate and contributed nearly $1 billion in revenue in the NetApp 2007 fiscal year. This success was possible due to the development and implementation of a fully functional NetApp team positioned for the growing enterprise market. Linehan developed a strong strategic plan and expanded into new markets with his diverse and effective leadership team. In his new role, Linehan will be expanding on his success building NetApp business in EMEA and bringing his expertise to APAC to capitalize on the region’s business opportunities.

Linehan will continue to report to Rob Salmon.

Linehan’s appointment is effective immediately.
